JAY's CONCERT!

oh my, his concert was AWESOME!
wasn't so easy [in fact, DIFFICULT] to get 2 of these tickets, so even having to sit at row 27 made me so satisfied and contented. it was a huge difference compared to the dec2004 concert where i got row 10!!

here are some photos... some taken using my cam, some from jay-chou.net. didn't take much videos/pics cause i thought its better to concentrate on the live performance! (can watch videos from youtube anyway). its pretty rare to watch him perform live right!

before the concert started... the crowd slowly entering... each seat (except the cheapest and 2nd most cheapest didn't have) had this "I LOVE U, JAY" fan on the seat (the green one) by starhub. a nice free gift!! btw, this is the view from my seat. its totally unblocked and was not too far. =) the concert starting...





some highlights of the concert [not in any order]:

#1 playing of piano - OH MY TIAN, the transparent piano was super gorgeous can! i love it. his pianos are always so NICE!! every concert have different pianos, all are so special! first was white, then pink, now its transparent! and of course the songs he played are nice too! when he played the piano with yu hao [a piece from secret], he wore a v casual t-shirt. its chao hao kan!

#2 interactive-ness. he was so interactive throughout the whole concert. which made the whole concert much more special than the previous one (which i thought he spoke quite little). he said some lame stuff + some super sweet words! and its REALLY SWEET! and he was asking if we like his movies or music more, and everyone said their own piece [not syncronised la] so later he forced us to say "BOTH! (dou xi huan...)" HAHA!

#3 his birthday. yupp, its on the previous day. and those who went for the 18th jan one got to sing him a birthday song, and we didn't!! but he talked about some stuff regarding his birthday which i thought it was heartwarming.

#4 unplugged performance (with nan quan ma ma). that part was super funny and entertaining! nqmm performed a mini skit to make fun of SECRET and they said they wrote a song privately to scold jay and they sang it! HAHA! jay sang a re-arranged song which was nice and everyone sang along cause the lyrics are so easy! love the whole atmosphere.

#5 his granny dancing. this was exclusive to 19th jan's so we are a lucky bunch of pple... his granny so cute!! haha, and she didn't miss a step can, pro!

#6 ENCORE! his encore was so jing cai! he played the zither. fa ru xue sounded so so melodious when he played it! was so touched u know! and he played the drums too!

#7 fireworks (not sure if those are called fireworks). lots and lots of them thruout the concert which made the atmosphere super high!

this angmoh (below) stood throughout the whole concert! and THE THING is, she know all the lyrics cause she was practically singing throughout. she's PRO la!

my sis and i was high throughout the whole concert and even now i think of last sat's concert, i still feel quite high. i cannot wait for his next concert, and i must get better tickets the next time!!! oh, the concert dvd should be out anytime. the tw one was much more jing cai with special appearences by pple like fei yu qing. MUST WATCH!

btw, i love the review about his concert in the straits times. it described exactly how the concert was!

I LOVE JAY TO BITS! yup, and he's coming to singapore on 3rd feb (next sun!!!!!!) for his new movie. saw the trailer and i cannot wait to watch it! haha, most prob i'll go see him on 3rd feb. =) =) =)

HELLO =) i'm back!

been busy lately (and will be more busy next week) so i've decided not to update that last part about korea trip. HAHA!

work
have not been talking about work for quite a long time. work has been more enjoyable as time passes. its v interesting answering purchasers' phone calls and meeting them. haha, they are such nice pple! some actually made an effort to remember yuting's and my name. =) this purchaser insisted that i'm called DONNA over the phone. when he called, he said "can i speak to donna pls?" when i called his phone, he was like "yes donna?..." -_- haha, but later nice yuting helped me to correct him (which made her so paiseh). and an angmoh made me laugh like so super crazy that i couldn't do the handing over. MR STEFFEN! he keep coming back (to handle some stuff) and he's so friendly to yuting and me!

so this is where i work...

back to nj!(last last wed) - o.O only had time to update now.
went back with the rest of the cellobass seniors (MEICHEN! how can u not go!). all of us went after work. the feeling of returning back to sch in sch uni is SO GREAT la! cause this whole thing was MEANT to be a surprise (by kahyan and kaihui), the juniors weren't suppose to know that we are coming. haha, but the quite clever audrey knew that we were coming back (due to the phone call i made!). tried to trick her, but someone nice like me cannot lie u see.
went lt5 to look for them. then we saw our juniors :) :) :) didn't see sueanne and the new j1s. but heard from audrey lately that there's a cedarian! (yuting and i shall take good care of her! haha). we made like so much noise in there. hahha. oh, and alvin was there! chatted with him a while, and realised that his work is so super slack too!

next was dinner at curry wok! and i realised that horrible dingjie have been announcing that yuting and i have been so slack at work that we played b**** [dingjie, don't act innocent ok. btw, now we are no more so free already]. i, xm, jinxian and dingjie shared the dinner and it was quite funny. jinxian and dingjie ate half of my rice! [btw, found out that jin xian's gp teacher is the same as mine last year - MRS NAIR!] and joson kept saying our veg dish looked like some ____ (which was so mean of him la - like excuse me, we are having our dinner ok!) but he had a similar dish later for his table. retribution!! HAHA!

after dinner was (crazy) phototaking! took section photo [kahyan,pls upload soon!!!] like a thousand times due to joson who seems to have so many comments about his face. haha! there was more phototaking on the overhead bridge. and yuting took a funny photo of me and ky ( ky is the funny one, but i won't post or she'll scold me!).

KOREA TRIP (pictures!!!)

korea trip!
(shall just briefly talk about some parts of the trip...)

day 1
at changi airport


went shopping after we checked in and my mum bought my sis her 21st birthday present (super early one). look at her i'm-so-happy face.

day 2
reached incheon international airport in the morn. and its COLD! -4 degrees [got colder later on]

first meal (lunch) YUMMY!

we went nami island (place where winter sonata was filmed) the place was super scenic!!! but its was the coldest of the trip when we were there. -13 degrees u know!! *frozen*

BIG CELLO!!
saw this korean small girl. she's all wrapped up - just like a pretty present. so cute!!!

shopping at this mall. the things are ex ok! a box of strawberries (which was the sweetest i've eaten in my life) cost S$23 ! so cold at that point of time that we decided to go kfc to drink hot coffee.

at night, we stayed at a resort at mount sorak. and i must say that the room's really big +clean + warm (the floor had heater so our feet felt warm). there's a kitchen + two rooms + a bathroom for 2 persons.

day 3

skiing!!!!! on our way to the ski resort - it snowed quite heavily. SO NICE! =D =D =D

it snowed for 2-3 hours when we were ski-ing [can see the snow in the pic?]

day 4

went to take this cable car up this mountain. after that, we had to climb up somemore! so tiring!! was going to perspire anytime i the cold!

at a temple... i was stacking stones up (according to the tour guide, this brings good luck) :D

went everland! one of korea's largest theme park. its like disneyland! the pple working inside are so ever friendly. its totally awesome for both kids and adults! we didn't spend much time there cause we were 1 hour behind time (due to traffic jam). sat some rides (not too scary but it was COLD!)


we sat the tub and slide down this slope. the guys in charge of this ride were like pushing us down with their might! so exciting!!! (and of course scary too!)
daddy didn't play cause he helped us to take photos!!

day 5 went to the kimchi sch.

wore the traditional costumes! haha. super funny!

me: *think for a while* YAR HOR! haha!! [but in the end, i couldn't be bothered to remove my spects! haha]and then we learnt to make kimchi! cool!

shopping!!things are super super nice! super nice clothes! bought not much clothes (cause the clothes there are mostly for winter - but they are quite cheap!!) and lots of earrings! ate ice-cream! NICE and CHEAP (S$1.50). the super high (tall i mean) one! cool to eat ice-cream in such cold weather! [it doesn't melt that easily!] day 6

went to visit some palace (the one where they filmed goong if i'm not wrong).

went to see seoul tower (the tall tall thing behind) - [in "My Girl", the couple went up the seoul tower!!] my sis and i wanted to go up!

went to this thing called hall of fame!
and so i took photo with pple like rain! HEE.


walked around the city area and we witnessed the changing of the palace guards (they were marching pass us). managed to take photos with some of them while they were waiting for the traffic lights. and this v nice guy smiled at the cam!!

then there was last min shopping near the airport there. and then we went to the airport! and back to singapore! ate korean food for the last time on the plane!

i miss korean food! and the whole of this trip!!
