retail therapy usually works for me.

but it didn't work out yesterday. still feeling very =x .

but qn's a really great company. think shopping with her is quite cool. supposed to be me buying things but ended up like qn bought more stuff than me. and the thing is (inside joke), i bought a zara blouse! (emphasized greatly by qn.)

sat down at ps and started to talk about some unhappy(i would say) stuff. =( but the part about qn's maid really made me laugh. maybe someday when i have the time, i'll just pop in to qn's house and check out her maid. HAHA.

the past week was full of scrambling. o_x and i don't have anything to look forward during the weekend =(.

really hope time flies. please.

been really really busy last week. sorry for not being to make it for some appointments!



i'm so tired. and ben can ask me to partner him for a dualthon. HAHAHA. sure lose one lor! i'm quite looking forward to having breakfast with him at serangoon gardens and playing mahjong at his house.


and yes, i finally submitted it. though i'm sure my family's quite against of me sending that application, i still went ahead. troubled lots of pple like my parents, sis, mrs kong, mr tan, audrey, ben and royce. thanks for all your help. my mum paid a huge amount of postage fee so that it'll take just a day to arrive. so i'm sure they have received it already. hope everything goes well. shall just wait and see.

i think my temper's getting quite bad nowadays. =( perhaps due to the stress i face from work and all the application stuff. all the shuffling from place to place makes me really sian.

on a happier note, i really had fun having lunch with my friends at raffles place. ate with liting and aline. and with corine on another day. its such a coincidence can! corine just work at a storey below me in the tax department. Saw her in the lift one day. talked about funny stuff during our sec 3 and 4 years which i think its really memorable. i miss cedar! and u know corine's really funny. cause to leave the lobby on the first floor of the building, there's no need to tap the card. the thing is, she took out a card to tap, and the card is her ez link card! HAHAHA! SUPER PAI SEH!

haha. somebody really makes me happy. so i like HIM! he's so sweet! but my sis likes him too! and the thing is, my mum thinks he's not bad too! HAHAHA! 3 of us fighting for him! =/

this may be a little late, but still, i want to wish qiu ning [14th mar] and cherlynn[18th mar] a very HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY!

i think my girl friends are really v sweet. esp jm, jo, cherlynn [and derrick] whom i met at ntu open house yesterday. thanks for comforting me. and also qn, who's really giving me lots of concern.

but i still feel v sad, disappointed and scared. =( =( =(
i think i can tear anytime right now.

somehow i think this time i did well for the wrong subject.though its not something i can control also.

i probably need more time.

well, i really cannot sleep tonight as expected. and its freezing!

meet-up with liting and ben
ok, so venue was changed to dhoby ghaut. met liting at raffles place. and oh my, her anxiety is super contagious ok! luckily ben was calm enough to calm us down when we met him at ps.

we (ben and i) haven met since so long, and there's simply so much catching up to do. laughed so crazily cause some stories are really hilarious.

liting's colleagues were telling her to have a proper meal cause she may not be able to have good meals after fri and to drink more water cause she will cry and suffer from dehydration.

wow. how encouraging.

but my laogong's colleagues were so funny.
colleague: nah, don't worry. even if u fail everything, you can come back to work at starhub.

HAHAHAHA! like if given a choice, who wants to work there! and that's something just so inauspicious to say.

liting said her guy colleagues were really se4. cause during new year, they lao-ed yusheng, and so obviously something decent/auspicious should come out of the mouth, for example "good health for everyone", "more wealth and fortune" etc. but guess what her colleagues said,

"MORE EDISON CHEN PHOTOS!"

HAHHAAAA! oh my tian. that's so ___________.

i think ben's really having a great time teaching. or rather i think he's an awesome teacher. he can really scold some really-deserve-it students. and i thought the students were REALLY qian bian. ok, i will just die of anger if i do relief-teaching. meet ms goh, the most bulliable teacher XD .

and also we talked about how some teachers can actually scold the f-word and smoke. they are such 'good examples' hor.

heard some juicy gossip from ben. its ben u know! haha, not only girls gossip ok!
anyway, we hope to go taiwan together again! wonder how joe, daryl, guanwen(the shuai ge =p but not trying to say the rest are not ok, so no offences!) and tzewoon are doing. we must go tw together in the same group!

going to meet liting and ben today after work at cityhall. {haha, its cityhall again!) quite sick of that place. need to get home earlier to get ready (or rather - calm myself down) for tmr.

derrick's birthday celebration

on sat, went with the girls to celebrate derrick's bday. met at cityhall station. saw eunice! so long haven't seen her. glad to know she's doing well =D when derrick and qn came, we proceeded to that dimsum restaurant. ok, heard from qn that derrick managed to pass his whatever test in ns. he did 9 pull-ups lar! so PRO! haha, kind of unbelievable, but congrats anyway!

and thanks derrick for the chocolates that u bought for everyone!

jo's so blur[as usual]! couldn't find the restaurant. then we started ordering and i thought the service was pretty poor. jm came later after her tuition.

food wasn't too bad. ate till so full can! cause the thing was that i wasn't even hungry in the first place. and the response to this statement was "you always not hungry one lor!" by ________, _______,_______etc. haha, which i think its not always true ok!

after which, we went funan. then to city hall area to shop for derrick's present ... And also for my shoes at the same time xD xD xD. haha, ok cause my blistered legs need some kind of cover-toes-but-not-heels shoes. sorry derrick! and thanks to the girls!

thought of buying a wallet for derrick. but haha, he didn't like it so much after all and so there's no point in paying quite an amt for something he didn't like so much. at the wallet shop, it was quite pai seh! couldn't find the wallet (the initial one which derrick's considering] and so we asked help from the salesgirl. she was like ???????. haha. and guess what, its actually just there in front of us!

bought slippers for him in the end. the girls -WE are so nice lar! sort of served him by helping him to find right slippers/sizes while he just sat there! derrick, be honoured! anyway, hope derrick likes this present!

went to the foodcourt where some of us had some light food before heading home.

took mrt with qn and derrick as usual, and it was v funny! talked about me going to find someone with ________ to depend on. haha, qn and derrick musn't say what ______ is ok! cause it's going to seem like i'm v mean. anyway, i really miss neighbour! qn, where's neighbour!!


went for more shopping on sun to find my shoes. bought something. hopefully it helps.





well, the news for a levels results is out =( =( =(

ok, there's just so much updating to do. :S

*at changi airport (on tues)

before heading for the airport, i went to visit my laogong [as mentioned in the previous post ]. went to starhub tampines mall and met her. she had to pretend that she was talking to a customer [that's me] so her managers won't suspect that she's slacking. saw her colleagues and they seemed really nice! haha - shall talk about my super nice colleagues at ernst&young (ey) later! couldn't stay for really long cause the shop became crowded so i went shopping by myself. looked for something to buy for mitch but in the end jo and cherlynn bought at citylink where it seemed that many things happened to jo [the clumsy girl].

went to changi airport mrt. waited like 40 mins for jo and cherlynn. i sat there so long that the train master [or security guard] kept staring at me and asked why i'm sitting there so long. when they reached, we went to sign the card before finding mitch. mitch offered to treat us dinner. haha, i'm like so hungry at that time u know, so kind of tempted for his treat xD. Jo kept laughing at me lar!


met some other nj pple [ mitch's badminton friends ] and there's this group of friends [who looked older than us]. told qn that this guy said we looked so young! [excuse me, he's the one looking old! - haha,i'm quite mean]. mitch's quite ke lian, cause whole class only 3 pple sent him off. but the rest were busy/unwell. so can't be helped anyway. then we proceeded to the departure hall and sent him off.






mitch seemed kind of happy that he's going to new south wales and prob not getting back his results. and he frightened us about results day! MEAN!

shall visit him around june if there's a chance. cause i and my sis planning to go to sydney & melbourne. haha- i want free accommodation!

went for dinner at bk and then home-sweet-home to get ready for my first day of work!



*first day of work at ey! (wed)

i reached raffles place so early [ my dad fetched my mum and me] so i went to the mrt to get TODAY to read at lau pa sat. and just that few mins of walk got me blisters at my heels! so painful! haha, work haven't started and i couldn't walk properly already! ok, cause this time around, the dresscode is more stringent - shoes MUST cover toes. so i couldn't wear my usual comfortable heels. :( when it was about time, i proceeded to 1 raffles quay -north tower, handed over my i/c to get the visitor pass. need some kind of pass to enter the building.


#1 went to ey receptionist and looked for the hr. waited 30 mins for her.

#2 settled some documents before proceeding to my dept -business advisory services (BAS) dept which is on a different storey. they passed me this temporary pass and it could access me to every ey storey except my dept's. HAHA. ok, cause according to them, ours a special storey. i'll get a new pass soon.


#3 this person who's super nice - cindy, introduced me to the pple there. this dept is super big i would say, compared to my previous dept - 4 staffs. haha.

#4 pple whom i'll be working with for this project - yenfen, sacha, edwin. everyone's there super nice and friendly! =D =D =D couldn't remember everyone's names, but i'll try my best!

#5 brought me to my table. had nice window view! =) =) =)


#6 they briefed me through the project. so CHEEM! information overload during my first hour of work.

#7 off to this fair which was useful for our project at suntec. had jap meal. thanks for the treat!

#8 walked around the fair. thought it was kind of an eye-opener. haha, seeing someone being plated with gold of __ carats. and more. haha

#9 back to office. got my laptop. and according to my colleagues, its like the newest version. so pple like kelvin - my next door neighbour, is eyeing on my laptop! he cannot wait to make his spoilt so he can get mine when i leave. HAHHAA!


#10 started serious work. not v easy. its so tedious to do research! had to work overtime on my first day. not till v late though. cause they had to rush out some stuff for presentation the next day. colleagues stayed till past midnight. so poor thing!

#11 at the end of the day, some colleagues asked me how's my first day of work! so nice!

basically that's for all on my first day of work. and i was so tired at the end of the day.

*day 2 at work
#1 continued with my work.

#2 had to eat in cause time was running out. thanks edwin for the cedele chicken sandwich.

[told qn and derrick what happened about me - saying stuff that didn't link! and they laughed at me! i'm so ke lian ok!] oh, the pantry there was great! seemed like some coffee bean, tcc outlet to me.

#3 had an early day when they went for presentation. went to surf my own stuff [facebook etc.]

#4 met qn after work [her second last day of work]. THANKS qn for the chocolate chip subway cookie! talked about name-cannot-be-mentioned-here. that person seemed really quite hard to get along with. how come some pple just so _____. haha. but after i saw this message on qn's hp yesterday, maybe he's not that bad after all. haha, told qn about my colleagues. shall not talk too much here, cause they may find my blog! hahaa, but its definitely nothing bad.

on my way home, saw shaomin! haha, and finally i remembered where she stay! its like pretty near my house. heard about majella! take care majella!! miss u guys!



*day 3 at work

#1 whole morning just slacked. sms-ed qn who was really encouraging! HAHA! muster my courage! which i did after lunch. and something really nice happened. thanks qn!!!

#2 lunch with colleagues was fun. ate the famous beef noodles. forced me to say who i'll date in our dept. hmm, like how to choose, all the guys are nice. sacha told me to choose kelvin. then i chose him cause he's the only guy there.

#3 went to ya kun for some coffee/tea

#4 went shopping at those boutiques at china sq. the way the 3 ladies shopped was so funny! kelvin and i kept laughing la! my colleague saw this shoe which was nice and wanted to try on. but guess what, its another customer's shoes! HAHHAHAHA!

#5 went back after 2.5 hours of lunch/shopping etc. =D =D =D so relaxed.


my legs hurt so much after the week ended. like what i told qn, its tattered and torn =(
need to buy the kind of shoes i'm looking for badly! thanks jo, jm etc. for helping me to search on sat when we supposed to be getting derrick's present.

shall talk about how we celebrated derrick's birthday another time!
