i'm still sick =(

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIA MEI!!!

jm's mini bday celebration!
in the morning, i felt really unwell.so i went to see the doc. took the medicine and had a short rest before i left the house.

took bus to holland v and managed to get to settlers cafe with help from qy and some strangers. the cafe was v ulu ok! heng i was pro enough. met jm, qn, wanting and cherlynn.

things that happened:

at the cafe,
#ate blueberry+apple cheesecake, drank vanilla in rootbeer float

#played that 'fruits' card game. cherlynn's super pro la! keep winning. and jo super lousy! keep giving pple cards until she left one or two only. wanting v funny! she keep waiting for pple to make mistakes so she can get more cards!! and horrible qn used some lousy tactic, blocked jo and my view!

#next we played taboo. haha, i v lousy at this! [jo, stop saying i stone there! i'm thinking hor!!] qn's the pro one!! anyhow guess also guess correctly. and she keep shi she-ing pple with cards.

#played this dice game. quite fun. must get some special combi to get the cards. i'm quite lucky, managed to get 4 of a kind!

at holland v,
#derrick called and arranged to meet us at buona vista mrt [ apparently his phone batt was going FLAT]. later we asked him to take bus to meet us at holland v. he ah, super blur!! he made cherlynn, jm, jo and me walk up and down that stretch of shophouses to find him! and derrick and i kept calling each other asking where he is so in the end we realised that actually his phone got a lot of batt lor! :S managed to find him at cold storage! FINALLY! haha, actually we suspected that maybe he's at another outlet since we didn't see him initally. cause he's so blur!!

#went to find a place to eat our dinner. decided to go the hawker centre cause everywhere else was v crowded. took v v long to order our food. oh, derrick treated us to oyster omelette. thanks!

#talked about lots of stuff. v FUNNY!! something that really made me laugh was about kc, jo and __________. super PAISEH! cherlynn really v kua zhang. haha. poor jo! luckily i wasn't there when it happened, i sure laugh like crazy! anyway, derrick did something that made cherlynn pissed with him. wah, for the first time! HAHA!


and later we all went home. had a great time with everyone! love everyone's company!

i'm done with my CV. like finally.

chatted with the girls. so long we didn't catch up u know! the girls were talking about work [while the guys were in their ns world :S] and most of us really felt that work was quite wei qu. haha. i thought charmian's work is quite interesting [how not interesting can working alongside doctors be??!!] . then we were talking about teaching, and charmian's super funny. she said she cannot teach cause she's impatient so she will kill her students one by one. HAHA!!! anyway, quite worried now about my upcoming teaching job. quite a no. of pple told me teaching is not easy [including mrs kong] x_0 i shall see how.

and we celebrated jm's bday in advance! =) =) =)

went to jp with some of the rest. derrick's so mafan and fussy. cannot stand him!!

at relative's house (at night)

i drank some wine (some only!) and i got a bit high. laughed at my small cousin for something that wasn't meant to be funny.

she came to me,
she: i (just) fell down.
me: really? how u fell?
she: i walked down the slope, turned and fell.

then i burst out laughing!! HAHHHAA! i'm so evil la, but i thought its funny. [its just like cellobass laughing at kahyan when she fell last time. sorry ky!]

i'm so busy later!
two shows to catch, have to give tuition and relatives coming to my house!

on cny's eve fine morning, (on the bus) i received peiyi's call,

peiyi: eh leona, u still working?
me: today's my last day at work... why?
peiyi: eh, u want to teach chem at swiss cottage?

me: where's swiss cottage btw?
peiyi: at bukit gombak
me: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had to like give my reply by 9am. in the end i decided to take up this job. i've nv been to this place called b-u-k-i-t g-o-m-b-a-k in my life! [ok, i'm a suaku :S]. i probably have to leave my house at 6am everyday so that i can reach sch by 7.20. haha, for all i know, i'll still be late. oh, and my daily transport cost is going to cost me a bomb. from serangoon north to bukit gombak! but the thing is its only for three weeks... [phew!] shall just give it a try.

haha, its ok that a lot of pple cannot imagine me teaching! cause i myself cannot imagine myself teaching!

had the usual family gatherings in the day.

my laogong called me at 11+ at night, and we talked till 1.30 a.m.! there were like so much things to catch up. talked about sad stuff and its really saddening! =( yes,we hate THAT feeling!

something happier that i can think about now is that i finally bought jay's concert dvd+cd!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to everyone!

i'm posting in the morning again.

saw the today's life! and it really made my day, cause jay's on the cover. =D

but now i'm feeling sad [just like chongkahyan] cause i didn't go down to see him!! i wanted to go so much but i had to teach tuition + wasn't feeling v well during the weekend [until now].
won't get to see him again for a long long time!

today's my last day at le reve, second last day at hong leong.

i shall miss
*the security guard! haha, he's super nice to yuting and me.
*mr neo's family. they really liven up the whole atmosphere at the condo. the kids are always swimming, making so much noise! and mr neo always drop by, asking us things that obviously we are not in charge of. xD
*other purchasers like zhu yu hua and mr steffen!
*chwee hong, the person who we work v closely with.

=D my moe relief teaching application has been approved! that's most likely going to be my next job.

i'm off to work!

its 6.50 now in the morning!

i don't want to go to work! =( super sian :S :S :S almost all units have collected their keys so we are just waiting for those few to call and make appointments... there's nothing to do!!

anyway, my work at hong leong is ending soon [before cny, YAY!]. meanwhile, i'm giving tuition. h2 maths is quite fun to teach. and my tutee and her mum are so nice and sometimes funny!

got lots of things i want to do before cny, but time's running out!
and i need to get my jay's concert dvd!!

just read the straits times life! today. the straight talk section has this article "jay chou, cute? gimme a break". thought its quite interesting. must read, esp guys!
